Kimley-Horn is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our Midwest Marketing & Graphic Design team! This office-based opportunity is located in our Chicago West location at 4201 Winfield Road, Suite 600, Warrenville, IL 60555.

Responsibilities

  • Our Graphic Designers work independently, partnering with other Designers and Marketing professionals to understand and translate the client’s vision and design a variety of deliverables in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Develop graphic covers, templates, layouts, and supporting graphics for marketing pursuits.
  • Create presentations, aerial map exhibits, and multimedia graphics.
  • Create tailored, print and digital brochures as well as conference/event graphics.
  • Design digital campaigns for external recognition/pursuits.
  • Thrive as part of a large, creative, and specialized marketing team.
  • Partner with engineers, project managers, and technical staff.
  • Serve as a brand advocate for Kimley-Horn and the client’s visual guidelines.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of corporate and/or agency experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or similar major.
  • Proficiency in Adobe CC (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat) and Microsoft Office Suite (Kimley-Horn is a PC-based company).
  • Ability to use InDesign software for layout of complex documents.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A positive, collaborative, solution-seeking attitude, and a high sense of personal responsibility.
  • Desire to learn new skills, manage tasks and teams, participate in process improvement.
  • Flexibility to periodically work outside normal business hours as needed.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle simultaneous, varied assignments while providing consistent quality and accuracy.
  • Willingness to travel in support of remote projects and teams.

Annual Salary Range: $63,000-$75,000
