Youth Services Librarian – Brown Public Library (Northfield, VT) Job at 3R Truck

The Brown Public Library, located in Northfield, VT, seeks an energetic, collaborative Youth Services Librarian for a 25-30 hour a week position. The Youth Services Librarian provides programming for children, teens, and young adults, including:

1. Weekly story hours
2. Summer Reading Program
3. Reading is Fundamental program
4. Outreach

The youth librarian is also responsible for the management of the children’s book collection, assists at the circulation desk, and performs other duties as needed.

Requirements:

1. College education
2. Experience working with the public, especially children, teens, and young adults
3. Willingness to work towards a VT Library Certificate
4. Computer literacy
5. Previous library experience preferred
