GDM Habitat for Humanity ReStore: Tool Lending Library (TLL) Repair Assistant Jo

This volunteering opportunity works alongside the GDM Habitat for Humanity ReStore staff to ensure all tools and equipment available to borrow from the Tool Library are clean and in full working order.

This encourages an exemplary experience for the library members by helping guarantee quality items are available for their use on a consistent & reliable basis. This in turn supports the longevity of the Tool Library program, and its goal of supporting stable housing through the availability of low or no-cost tools for community homeowners to utilize in the maintenance of their homes.

We are needing expertise or prior experience particularly in working with:

• lawnmowers
• chainsaws
• weed-eaters
• aerators
• pressure washers

The East Euclid Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity ReStore is open from Monday-Saturday 9am-6pm, and we would love to have you for 2 dedicated days for at least 3-4 hours per day, or whenever your schedule allows. Tools will be provided for you to use, and there will be a dedicated area of the store for you to work in with our staff if needed. Thank you for considering this opportunity!
