POSITION PURPOSE
This role is critical in developing and executing marketing strategies that highlight the compatibility of our healthcare disinfectant solutions with various surfaces and equipment used in healthcare facilities. As a Marketing Specialist, you will use your understanding of healthcare environments and compatibility considerations to create and implement marketing campaigns that emphasize the safety and effectiveness of our products on a wide range of materials.
Working closely with product development teams, sales personnel, and healthcare professionals, you will develop and distribute compelling marketing materials and digital content that clearly communicate the importance of surface compatibility. Your efforts will help ensure that healthcare providers feel confident using our disinfectant wipes, understanding how they protect surfaces and equipment while preventing infection. This role is essential to increasing brand awareness and driving market growth by promoting the unique compatibility features of our products.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
- Partner with the Channel, Marketing, and National Accounts teams to develop, establish, and implement the compatibility program.
- Develop and implement compatibility strategy, marketing campaigns, and tactical plans as well as provide day-to-day sales rep support.
- Create training materials that build sales skills and collaborate with R&D, Field Trainers, and the Clinical Team to launch training programs for services and products.
- Create/continue to update a searchable database for product compatibility by reviewing device and material instructions for use.
- Establish and foster relationships with OEMs and device manufacturers to drive testing and support of the use of PDI products on their materials and devices.
- Support strategic compatibility goals in collaboration with Clinical Affairs and Field Sales and execute well-defined activities to achieve success.
HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE:
- Gain and apply a thorough understanding of healthcare operations, challenges, and priorities to inform marketing strategies.
- Utilize basic knowledge of infection prevention principles to highlight how our products and services meet healthcare needs.
MARKETING EXPERTISE:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies across digital, content, and traditional advertising channels.
- Plan, execute, and manage marketing campaigns, analyzing outcomes to guide future strategies.
- Conduct market research to gather insights, understand customer needs, and monitor competitors.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Conduct research and testing to evaluate the compatibility of disinfectant wipes with different medical devices, equipment, and surface materials commonly found in healthcare settings.
- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure that disinfectant formulations are compatible with a wide range of healthcare surfaces without causing damage.
- Develop guidelines and recommendations for healthcare providers on how to use disinfectant wipes safely and effectively on different materials.
DIGITAL MARKETING SKILLS:
- Manage social media platforms to enhance brand promotion and engage with the audience.
- Create informative and compelling content tailored to healthcare professionals.
- Apply SEO and SEM techniques to improve online visibility and engagement.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
- Craft clear and effective marketing materials and communications.
- Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, ensuring alignment and engagement.
ANALYTICAL ABILITIES:
- Analyze marketing data and performance metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness.
- Identify challenges and strategize effective solutions in a dynamic environment.
ORGANIZATIONAL AND PLANNING SKILLS:
- Oversee multiple projects, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
- Coordinate and execute significant events, such as trade shows and product launches.
REGULATORY KNOWLEDGE:
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with regulatory standards and ethical practices in the healthcare industry.
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, material science related field, or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 1-2 years' experience in marketing, preferably in the healthcare industry, with a proven track record of managing successful marketing campaigns.
- Science or engineering background a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas to marketing campaigns.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
WORKING CONDITIONS

SALARY RANGE:
- $60,000 - $75,000 annually
