Job Summary:
The Media Assistant works closely with the Media Buyers to maintain media planning and campaigns for both Traditional and Digital Media spaces. This position is in-office in our Baton Rouge office.
Job Duties:
- Establish a good working relationship with station vendors and update/maintain client budgets.
- Advertising platforms include traditional video, audio, print, and outdoor.
- Daily monitoring of media schedules for preemptions, revisions, and makegoods.
- Reconcile all traditional media invoices.
- Stay current on media and industry trends.
Experience:
Experience in Advertising or directly with Media Buying is a plus, but is not required. However, the following experience/skills are necessary to be considered for this position:
- Two years of in-office experience is required.
- Data entry experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience using Gmail, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is a MUST.
- Ability to work on multiple projects with overlapping deadlines.
- Work well in a team-oriented environment.
- An ability and desire to learn more.
- College degree preferred.
