Job Summary:

The Multimedia Marketing student will assist in content creation supporting the endeavors of Ohio Northern University and its Office of Communication and Marketing. This position reports during daily operations to the Associate Director of Digital Strategy. Responsibilities include creating ideas to photograph, film, or otherwise create content for Ohio Northern University's social media platforms, staying updated on the latest social media trends, and collaborating on audience engagement. Some evening and weekend work will be required as needed.

1. Assist with the technical and creative aspects of managing pre-production, production, and post-production of social media content using a smartphone.
2. Campus photography and video with smartphone for social media purposes.
3. Provide advanced department assistance on special tasks and projects.
4. Work closely with department administration.
5. May assist with video uploads.
6. Participate, engage, and assist with current campus/department initiatives.
7. Manage specific office duties outlined by supervisor.
8. Provide updates to supervisor/department administration.
9. Follow all department policies and procedures.
10. Come to work as scheduled by supervisor.
11. Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

Must be a self-motivated Ohio Northern University student with basic working knowledge of social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok, and basic photography and video skills using a smartphone. Working knowledge of photo and video software such as Photoshop, Premiere, FinalCut, etc. is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be enrolled as an ONU student.
• Good academic standing.
