About the Role
Teaching music at Stratford School is a unique experience. It allows the teacher to lay a musical foundation for students to become lifelong appreciators of all types of music. Music teachers collaborate with classroom teachers to plan and integrate the core knowledge curriculum within the music program, such as music history. You will be working with elementary age students.

You will also
  • Plan, supervise, and implement curriculum for our Elementary classrooms
  • Collaborate with other faculty and staff members
  • Play piano for classroom performances
  • Assist teachers with the use of rhythm instruments
  • Introduce students to the piano, specifically

What We Are Looking For
  • A bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field from an accredited college or university
  • Piano proficiency and sight reading expertise required
  • Prior teaching experience with students is preferred
