Job Description - Adjunct Instructor in Music - WVU Tech (Beckley) (25660)

The School of Arts and Sciences at West Virginia University Institute of Technology invites applications for an adjunct instructor in music. We are seeking an outstanding candidate to complement the faculty in a multidisciplinary department of History, English, and Creative Arts.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include teaching an introductory music course for non-music majors. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience teaching in-seat and online courses. This position will be responsible for teaching one or more music courses.

Qualifications

A master’s degree in music or fine arts, or a related field with a concentration in music, with a Ph.D. preferred. Candidates must also exhibit evidence of effective teaching, responsiveness to student needs, and good communication skills. Experience with online instruction and online instructional technologies is desirable.

Salary and Application Materials

Salary is established on a per-course basis. All positions are part-time and are not benefits-eligible.
