Junior Video Editor - Financial Audit Job at Society for Scholarly Publishing in

Interested in gaining experience working on a YouTube channel with 1.8 Million Subscribers? Looking for production experience or a chance to join a growing business? Experience working in the YouTube space?

If so, we're looking for a top notch video editor to join our team.

In this role, you'll be focused on editing the hit show Financial Audit as well as other shows in the Caleb Hammer ecosystem. You'll focus on delivering rough cuts to our senior edits for finishing.

This is a chance to play an important role in a growing YouTube business!

We are looking for candidates located in the Austin area who are willing to come into the office in North Austin.

Responsibilities

1. Edit long form content for the show Financial Audit.
2. Analyzing KPIs to determine strategic video decisions.
3. Understanding the YouTube algorithm for strategic decision making.
4. Collaborating with the team to create and understand our video strategy.
5. Editing other long form content if needed.
6. Highlighting moments and clips to be used for shorts and other content.

Qualifications

1. 1+ Years of experience with Premier Pro
2. 1+ Years of After Effects experience
3. Experience with sound design
4. Familiarity with the Sony video ecosystem.
5. Must be in Austin and willing to come into the office.
6. Must have a positive attitude and be okay working in a fast paced environment.
7. Must be flexible.
8. Must be able to quickly learn new computer systems
9. Understanding of the YouTube algorithm
10. Understand storytelling and good video pacing.
11. Must be speed oriented
