Job Description

Objective: NBHS seeks a Fall Visual Instructor to teach and inspire our students. Through strong teamwork, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills, this candidate will foster a positive environment for all participants.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with leading the summer Marching Band Camp and Fall Season
• Conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement
• Support the musical development of the winds sections/ensembles as directed by the Lead Winds Instructor and Band Director
• Implement all musical techniques needed by members of the brass and woodwind sections
• Implement the visual techniques in collaboration with the Lead Visual Instructor
• Maintain, secure, and setup equipment and materials for rehearsals and performances
• Establish a positive rapport with students and families
• Participate in concerts, marching band competitions, football games, parades, and other community events as needed throughout the school year
• Flexible schedule including working holidays
• Such other responsibilities as may from time to time be assigned by the Principal or Director of Fine Arts
