Job Summary: The Insurance Producer role markets, prospects, and sells American Family Insurance products in all product lines. Maintains effective customer relationships, understands customers' needs, and matches them with appropriate product and service offerings. Promotes brand awareness and agency success through customer relationship building and sales.

Responsibilities:

1. Develops knowledge of the local market dynamics for business development opportunities for all product lines.
2. Helps the Agency grow by using consultative selling techniques to sell insurance products to new customers.
3. Proactively cross-sells and or coordinates with agency team members to provide additional coverage to existing customers.
4. Prepares quotations and applications and delivers effective presentations in order to close sales.

Qualifications:

1. Active insurance license required.
2. Ability to work independently to plan, set priorities and organize work.
3. Demonstrated sales and customer service experience.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
5. Experience with PC software applications (Microsoft Office Suites, Internet Explorer, etc.).
6. Experience using a wide range of digital devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptop computer.
