We’re on a mission to eliminate notification overload and bring joy to productivity. As we prepare for our beta launch, we’re seeking an innovative and strategic Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our marketing efforts, build a loyal user base, and make Notif.AI a household name in the productivity and gaming space.
Job Description:As the CMO of Hovian Inc., you will be responsible for designing and executing the marketing strategy for Notif.AI from the ground up. This role is perfect for a creative and data-driven leader who thrives in a startup environment, understands how to build a brand from scratch, and knows how to connect with gamers, streamers, and productivity enthusiasts.
You’ll play a key role in driving growth, brand awareness, and customer acquisition, while also building and leading a team of marketers over time. As such, we offer compensation in the form of stock options (negotiable).
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Execute the Marketing Strategy
- Craft and implement a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for the beta launch and full product release.
- Define and refine Hovian Inc.’s brand voice, messaging, and positioning to resonate with target audiences (gamers and productivity enthusiasts).
- Customer Acquisition and Growth
- Drive user acquisition through organic, paid, and partnership marketing channels.
- Develop and manage campaigns for platforms like Discord, Reddit, Twitch, Twitter, YouTube, and Product Hunt.
- Launch referral programs and incentives to encourage viral adoption.
- Community Building
- Build and engage a loyal community of early adopters through Discord, Reddit, and other relevant platforms.
- Organize online events, beta tester challenges, and community feedback initiatives.
- Content and Social Media Marketing
- Oversee the creation of engaging content, including blog posts, social media campaigns, email newsletters, and videos.
- Drive consistent growth and engagement across platforms like Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Data-Driven Marketing
- Analyze marketing metrics (CAC, LTV, conversion rates) to optimize campaigns and maximize ROI.
- Use A/B testing and data analysis to refine strategies and improve performance.
- Strategic Partnerships
- Identify and secure partnerships with influencers, streamers, and gaming/content platforms to boost visibility and credibility.
- Explore collaborations with complementary products and services in the productivity and gaming space.
- Build and Lead a Marketing Team
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of marketers, content creators, and social media specialists as the company scales.
- Create processes to ensure efficiency and alignment with business goals.
- Proven Marketing Leadership: 5+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably in a startup, SaaS, AI, or gaming-related environment.
- Strategic and Creative Thinking: A balance of analytical skills and creativity to develop innovative campaigns and growth strategies.
- Hands-On Experience: A willingness to get your hands dirty while the team is small—designing campaigns, analyzing data, and engaging with the community directly.
- Strong Digital Marketing Skills: Expertise in social media marketing, content creation, email campaigns, SEO, and paid advertising.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to analyze and interpret marketing metrics to optimize campaigns and guide decision-making.
- Passion for Gaming and Productivity Tools: A strong understanding of the gaming community and productivity enthusiasts, with insights into their behaviors and needs.
- Leadership Abilities: Proven experience in building and leading high-performing marketing teams.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to craft compelling messaging and communicate effectively with internal teams and external audiences.
- Experience launching and growing a SaaS product or consumer-facing app.
- Strong network within the gaming, productivity, or tech industries.
- Previous experience with influencer or community-driven marketing campaigns.
- Familiarity with Steam, Product Hunt, or other tech/product discovery platforms.
