Job Description

As a Digital Content Intern, you will learn project management skills and the creative processes involved in Ecommerce at a Fortune 500 company. You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with seasoned project managers, writers, editors, designers and our business partners to facilitate the creation of online assets from start to finish. In this role, you will gain an understanding of the principles and standards for content management at a major online retailer. In addition, you'll participate in a summer series that includes our executive speaker events, Excel and PowerPoint workshops, and personal and professional development sessions.

This internship runs from June to August 2025. This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process. This internship does not have the potential to lead to a full-time opportunity. Housing and relocation will not be provided.

What you'll do
  • Support the Digital Content Team with workflow initiation and management
  • Use content management tools to plan and publish offers on BestBuy.com
  • Utilize quality assurance practices to review pages and ensure proper placement
  • Provide regular communication and status updates to stakeholders
  • Assist other Digital Content team members (emails, questions, etc.)
  • Attend weekly meetings with Category Management teams to discuss upcoming content requests
Basic qualifications
  • Pursuing a bachelor's or associate's degree from an accredited college/university, with an expected graduation date between Fall 2025 and Spring 2028
  • Must be able to work 40 hours a week Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am-5pm
  • Must be able to commit to the internship start and end date of 6/2/2025 - 8/8/2025
  • Must be able to commit to being no more than 2 hours driving distance from the Minneapolis Corporate Campus - 7601 Penn Ave South Richfield, MN 55423
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization
Preferred qualifications
  • Interest in project management, ecommerce, content management
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Experience working with JIRA and content management systems, project management experience
