Instructional Designer / Learning Experience Designer

Are you passionate about creating impactful learning experiences that drive employee success? Join our team as an Instructional Designer / Learning Experience Designer, where you'll play a key role in equipping our client-facing and non-client-facing employees with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel. In this role, you'll design and deliver innovative, engaging, and measurable learning solutions across various platforms and modalities.

Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Development
  • Analyze business needs to design strategic, targeted, and engaging learning curricula.
  • Translate complex concepts into effective learning materials, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and learner needs.
Content Creation
  • Design and develop online learning materials, including objectives, content, assessments, and multimedia assets.
  • Apply adult learning principles and systematic instructional design to create online, classroom, virtual, and blended learning experiences.
  • Incorporate cutting-edge technology, interactivity, and modern design trends into all training materials.
Training Delivery & Facilitation
  • Build and deliver innovative training programs across eLearning, in-person, and virtual instructor-led modalities.
  • Master training software and systems to deliver training and report on its effectiveness, iterating on content as needed.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to identify training needs and develop tailored learning solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure training materials align with company goals and industry trends.
Project Management
  • Use project management tools and skills to oversee medium to large-scale content development projects.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, mitigating risks and eliminating potential roadblocks.
Evaluation & Improvement
  • Assess the impact of training programs by measuring learner confidence, knowledge, and ability.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine training materials to ensure proficiency and effectiveness.
Skills & Qualifications
Required Expertise
  • In-depth understanding of adult learning principles and the ability to design learning experiences that meet program objectives.
  • Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools, including Camtasia, Articulate Storyline, and Rise.
  • Technical writing experience with a focus on clear, concise, and effective communication.
  • Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SCORM-compliant content development.
  • Expertise in creating interactive, simulation-based, and assessment-driven content.
  • Familiarity with web-based and mobile technology, industry trends, and innovations.
Desirable Skills
  • Strong project management capabilities with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience recording and editing audio/visual content for multimedia learning materials.
  • Passion for innovation and leveraging the latest technology in instructional design.
