Job Summary
Provide administrative andoperational support to the Library Director and library staff including budgettracking, purchasing, accounting, bookkeeping, data entry, customer support, administrativeoffice management and other tasks associated with library operations.
Environmental Hazards
Typical office environment and noise.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry 10-30 pounds, push book trucks, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Education & Experience
Position Qualifications:
Required
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2 years customer service related experience or relevant library experience
- Responsible Administrative, accounting, budget, customer service, problem solving, and dataentry/computer software or equivalent in a comparable environment.
Preferred
- Associates or Bachelors
- Library Experience and/or Knowledge or familiarity in circulation and the academic user experience
- Responsibleadministrative, budget tracking, accounting, customer service, problem solving,and data entry/computer software experience or equivalent in a comparableenvironment. Previous experience in anon-profit, library or educational institution is preferred. Experience with administrative functions such as email correspondence,typing, filing, taking minutes, and event management.
Skills, Proficiencies, and Knowledge
- 50 wpm typing
- Ten key pad
- Knowledge of general business office procedures
- Excellent customer serviceskills
- Ability to multi-task
