Job Title: Marketing Specialist – AEC Industry

Location: Denver, Colorado - Mainly Remote role with some in person meetings

Job Summary:

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for driving proposal management, creating engaging marketing collateral, and managing various marketing efforts tailored to the AEC industry. This role requires a creative professional with strong organizational skills, proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, and an in-depth understanding of AEC sector dynamics.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Proposal Management: Coordinate, write, edit, and design compelling proposals, statements of qualifications, and presentations in response to RFPs and RFQs.
  • Marketing Collateral Development: Design and produce marketing materials, including brochures, case studies, project sheets, and advertisements, ensuring brand consistency and industry relevance.
  • Graphic Design: Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) to create visually impactful marketing assets.
  • Content Management: Maintain and update the firm's website, project portfolios, and social media channels with current and engaging content.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to support business development efforts, identifying trends and opportunities in the AEC industry.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to gather information and translate technical details into marketing content.
  • Event Coordination: Assist with planning and promoting industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of marketing experience within the AEC industry.
  • Proven expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with proposal management and responding to RFPs/RFQs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., WordPress, Mailchimp, social media management tools).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of industry standards such as SF330 forms and other AEC-specific proposal requirements.
  • Experience with video editing software or photography is a plus.
