Software Engineer - Visual Intelligence Cupertino, California, United States Software and Services Visual Intelligence is a new feature, launched on the iPhone 16 with Apple Intelligence, that enables users to learn about the objects and places around them. Description We are looking for a software engineer to work on building the next generation of features for Visual Intelligence, including user interfaces, APIs, and core software components. Our work is primarily in Swift / SwiftUI, so prior experience is highly preferred. If you are an outstanding software engineer with no Swift experience, we’d still love to hear from you. Minimum Qualifications 3-5 years of professional experience writing software At least part of those years writing software for either macOS and iOS using Swift / SwiftUI Experience using Xcode and Apple’s developer APIs Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams Key Qualifications Preferred Qualifications A learning mentality and a willingness to try things that may fail. You should be able to learn from both success and failures. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative team environment Education & Experience Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
