The primary function of this position is to support the development of AN/SQQ-89 A(V)15 system operational and maintenance Integrated Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM) for US Navy ships in support of Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS 5B).Are you ready to make an impact? Primary ResponsibilitiesWork closely with Logisticians and other Tech Writers as the SQQ-89A(V)15 as a SME to support the creation of technical dataProvide subject matter expertise in the creation of templates, be able to describe complex and technical topics in a clear, concise, and accurate mannerReview of documentation as requiredProvide quality assessment of technical manuals being delivered to US Navy shipsBasic QualificationsRequires technical experience with AN/SQQ-89A(V) ACB/APB sonar system equipment.HS Diploma and a minimum of 6+ years of AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 working experience in both Operations and Maintenance.Clearance: DoD Secret Security Clearance required to start with the ability to maintain.Preferred QualificationsA thorough understanding of AN/SQQ-89(V) system operations and maintenance requirementsExperience working with S1000D or similar collaborative product data systemExcellent written communication and grammatical skillsExcellent organizational skills.Experience working directly with technical SMEsSystem functional segmentsSonar tactical equipmentSystem LAN operation and administrationFault Detection / Isolation / LocalizationRemove and replace proceduresExperience with NAVSEA programs and their lifecycle supportTravel will be required for this positionOriginal Posting Date:2025-01-15While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $50,700.00 - $91,650.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
