Role Overview:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Motion Graphics Animator with a strong background in both 2D and 3D animation. You will create engaging and educational content for high school STEM subjects, bringing abstract mathematical and scientific concepts to life in visually captivating ways for K-12 students. Collaborate within a dynamic team to produce high-quality educational animations utilizing tools like Unity, After Effects, and Cinema 4D.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft engaging 2D and 3D animations that simplify complex STEM concepts for K-12 audiences.
- Create precise and accurate explanatory animations using Unity and other animation tools.
- Work closely with the educational content team to ensure content is both accurate and pedagogically sound.
- Design and manage graphic assets for educational materials and branded content.
- Develop motion graphics for instructional and promotional videos.
- Incorporate feedback effectively and refine designs to meet tight deadlines and quality benchmarks.
- Document animation development processes and uphold design guidelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in motion design or a related field.
- Strong grasp of abstract math and science concepts with the skill to visualize them effectively.
- Proficiency in video editing and motion design software (Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Animate, Cinema 4D, etc.).
- Solid skills in graphic design software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating within a team environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in teaching or tutoring high school STEM subjects.
- Background in 3D character animation.
- Familiarity with Unity, Unity Animation Timeline, or comparable animation systems.
- Experience with 3D authoring tools such as Maya, Blender, or Cinema 4D.
