Project Manager (Transportation Design)
to be based in
Sacramento CA

Los Angeles CA . The position is open to remote work.
JOB SUMMARY: The Project Manager will help oversee the technical designs for preliminary and advanced engineering documents/deliverables as well as managing and tracking specific tasks and deliverables within the design contract ensuring that assigned contracts and agreements are administered and managed in accordance with the applicable policies and procedures of the client as well as management of assigned contracts in accordance with federal and State of California laws and regulations contract provisions and the clients policies and procedures. In addition the incumbent will assist in the coordination of utility and local facility relocations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists in managing scope cost schedule and budget ensures quality consultant deliverables with the project manager. Coordinate and attend meetings with local agencies and third parties Support the project manager in developing reports presentations conducting research analyses identifying issues recommending solutions identifying and mitigating project risks.
Qualifications : MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: BA/BS
8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in engineering construction management or equivalent. 10 years of experience with transportation projects and disciplines. Knowledge of various phases and functional responsibility of highspeed rail project development and delivery. Knowledge of federal and state contracting laws and regulations. Demonstrated experience in project management and managing multidiscipline teams to meet project milestones. Good knowledge of project management of tunneling projects.
