Overview

Purpose Statement/Position Summary:

The Artists Program Coordinator supports the Expressive Arts and Therapies Manager by coordinating daily operations of the administrative office, non-clinical volunteer program, and departmental special events. Works closely, in collaboration with Expressive Arts and Therapies team members, Marketing/Communications/Media Relations team, and other internal departments as necessary. Recruit, train, orient, and host Artists Program volunteers and community partner organizations. Event management, working with Foundation, Marketing and Communications, and many different departments within the hospital. We are looking for a positive and self-starter/proactive person. We would love someone who is experienced and familiar with working with children, teens, and families in the medical setting. Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:

2+ years working in high-pressured fast-paced environments. Experience in communications or related field preferred. Strong communication/interpersonal skills (both oral and written) Time Management/ Organized/ Adaptable Positive and Outgoing - lots of interfacing with donors, talent, staff Attention to detail Strong problem-solving skills Education/Licensure/Certification:

Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification.

Pay Scale Information

$42,016.00-$72,478.00

Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
