The Job We’re looking for an experienced Global Head of PR + Communications to drive Flo’s PR and Communications forward during a six-month period while our current Global Head of Communications is on maternity leave. In this role, you will carry forward our global communication strategy, ensuring proactive and consistent thought leadership across all markets. You will effectively manage communications across various time zones, adapting your approach to meet the diverse needs of our global audience. Your Experience Must have: Extensive experience in global communications, with a minimum of 10+ years in the field and a proven track record of developing and executing successful product launches, executive thought leadership, and crisis comms. A strong rolodex of reporters and media wins to prove it. 5+ years of crisis communication expertise, with the ability to manage crisis communications effectively. Collaborative leadership skills, having worked closely with C-level executives to align communication strategies with business objectives. Strong writing and editing skills, with an exceptional ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content for diverse audiences. Experience managing an external PR agency and understanding the importance of maintaining consistent and transparent communication. Experience in an app or tech environment, as well as in a startup or scale-up environment. Nice to have: Experience in femtech or related industries, with familiarity in the health technology sector. Cultural competence, with knowledge of international markets and cultural nuances. Experience in proactive campaign development. Digital communication proficiency. Crisis communication training. Experience collaborating with an external SEO agency. What you'll be doing You'll be responsible for: Leading global communication strategy. Crisis communication management. Proactive campaign development. Media relations. Collaborating with C-level executives. Collaborating across teams + managing external agencies. Monitoring communication metrics. Guiding social media responses. You'll be targeted on: Securing a steady drumbeat of media coverage. Securing speaking opportunities for C-level executives. Securing awards and recognition.
