Position Summary:
The Architectural Designer will support the design and development process for various projects across multiple sectors. This role requires a creative, detail-oriented professional who can work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and project teams to bring design concepts to life. The ideal candidate should have a strong architectural background, proficiency in design software, and a passion for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces.
Duties
- Collaborate with project teams to develop design concepts and architectural drawings for new construction, renovations, and other projects.
- Create and refine architectural renderings, sketches, models, and detailed construction drawings using tools like AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and SketchUp.
- Participate in client meetings, site visits, and presentations to communicate design ideas and project updates.
- Assist in preparing design documentation, specifications, and material selections.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure design integrity throughout all project phases.
- Ensure compliance with zoning regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
- research materials, systems, and sustainability practices to enhance design innovation and efficiency.
- Assist in preparing proposals and project schedules.
- Support the project team in addressing technical challenges and adapting designs as needed.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s license
- Clean Background check
- Ability to communicate clearly via phone, virtual meetings, and in person.
- Travel using your vehicle to and from meetings. 100/300/100 Liability limits are required.
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering
- 10+ years of experience
- 1+ years in a leadership role
- P.E. License

Qualifications (required related experience)
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- Good visualization, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Capable of combining aesthetics with function and the mechanics of buildings
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Projects, etc.)
Education (required minimum education level):
- Bachelor of Architecture
- 1+ year of experience
