Job Summary:
The overall purpose of this position is to serve as support to CEE Event planners in order to facilitate the planning and execution of IEEE meetings, conferences and events. The incumbent in this position will be assigned to various projects as a team-member as well as work on small projects independently.

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to CEE Event Planners through event related tasks to include but not limited to:
- Research vendors as needed (photographer, florist, caterer, offsite dinner venues)
- Create and distribute RFPs for upcoming events
- Provide onsite support for local events
- Create and maintain event registration sites
- Create and maintain timelines and project lists
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations
- Administrative tasks to include signage printing, document proofing, shipping, app maintenance, monitoring of team email inbox.
- Work on special projects and initiatives as assigned
Qualifications
Skills & Other Requirements:
- Communication must be clear, well organized and logical, possess excellent interpersonal skills and must be able to knowledgeably communicate with staff and volunteers.
- Exceptional written and oral presentation skills, PowerPoint (or other presentation software) skills required
- Collaborative team player, flexible, self-motivated, adaptable
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi task
- Ability to learn new tools, technology and processes quickly
- Knowledge of Cvent FLEX, Smartsheet, Webex and other digital platforms would be helpful but not required
