Primary Duties:
This role will report to and collaborate with the Director of Sales to execute and promote Hyundai Material Handling’s strategic marketing plans and measures. This role is responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing sales and market data to identify insights and market trends for strategic opportunities. Also, leading various sales and marketing projects and initiatives, including market and customer segmentations, product launches, literature and content updates, design collaboration with web developers, CRM integration, lead generation and other related activities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Data Collection and Analysis: Gather data from various sources like published industry sources (ITA, EDA), website analytics, CRM systems, social media platforms, market research, and sales data to analyze customer behavior, campaign performance, and market trends.
· Reporting and Visualization: Develop comprehensive reports and data visualizations to present key findings and insights to direct supervisor, including marketing teams, senior management, and other departments.
· Campaign Performance Evaluation: Measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns across different channels (e.g., email, social media, paid advertising) using key metrics like conversion rates, ROI, and customer acquisition cost.
· Customer Segmentation: Identify customer segments based on SIC codes, industrial applications, product cycles, technological attributes, customer preferences, and purchase patterns to tailor marketing strategies accordingly.
· Forecasting and Predictive Modeling: Utilize statistical analysis to forecast future marketing performance and identify potential growth areas.
· Data-Driven Insights: Translate complex data into actionable insights to inform sales and marketing strategy, campaign optimization, and product development decisions.
· Execute HD HCE NA’s social media marketing strategy through daily posting, customer interaction, creative content creation, social media integration, social media advertising, lead generation, dealer social feed monitoring, current event news monitoring and reposting.
· Oversee website project management with outside web developer for all minor and major design improvements, content changes, corrections, news feed updates, customer interaction and lead generation.
· Collaborate with marketing team members on e-blast content and dissemination for dealer-focused e-newsletters, updates, and communications, plus customer-facing e-blast promotions.
· Must have analytical skills set with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Query, and other data visualization platforms, HTML and word press knowledge is a plus.
· Duties may require occasional overnight travel and weekend travel as needed for marketing events and activities.
Other duties:
Other duties and functions appropriate to the position as assigned by the manager from time to time, up to 15%.
Work environment and other requirements:
Must be proficient with all Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required. Familiarity and proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite products – primarily Acrobat DC, Photoshop, InDesign, Premier, is a plus. The work environment is a non-smoking office environment.
No heavy lifting required. Mostly sitting with computer and phone usage. Accommodation can be made for disabled employees. Travel only on an “as needed” basis. During major marketing and sales events like tradeshows and special meetings it may be required to travel over an extended week and / or work nights and weekends (outside of normal HD HCE NA business hours.)
