Overview Placement Type: Temporary Salary: $75 -85/hr DOE Start Date: ASAP Aquent Studios is looking for a senior UX Writer/Content Designer (6+ years) to join our top technology client's growing UX Content team. As a UX Writer, you'll be customer-obsessed, helping to shape experiences that deeply resonate with our customers' needs and curiosities. You'll help drive the overall vision for UX content, use language to solve problems, and make our experiences more accessible while maintaining standards that keep the brand voice consistent. The only thing more exciting than validating a word choice is sharing the value of content design with your team. You love to be fun and playful with your writing, but know when to be clear and direct. More than anything else, you care about good, consistent content no matter the language. RESPONSIBILITIES Content Creation & Design: Write and design microcopy, onboarding flows, and subscription sign-ups for various products, focusing on engagement, growth, and user retention. Develop clear, concise, and action-oriented language that enhances user experience across web, mobile, and wearable devices. Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, UX Design, Legal, Product Marketing, and other key stakeholders to ensure content aligns with product goals, brand guidelines, and legal requirements. Effectively communicate content requirements and gain alignment from stakeholders. Content Strategy & Governance: Although the focus is on execution, contribute to the broader content strategy by developing reusable UX content systems, guidelines, and patterns that can scale globally across languages and marketplaces. Ensure content is aligned with accessibility standards and supports localization efforts. Stakeholder Management: Lead content discussions with product teams and stakeholders to drive content decisions forward. Use strong communication and problem-solving skills to get buy-in and ensure timely content delivery. Content Modularity & Scaling: Think holistically about content and its role within user journeys. Create modular content that can be scaled across multiple touchpoints (web, app, wearable, car experiences), ensuring consistency and quality. Accessibility & Localization: Apply accessibility best practices to all content and support the localization of content for different global markets, ensuring content remains effective and culturally relevant. Content Systems Development: Contribute to the development of UX content systems, templates, and reusable patterns. Focus on building scalable content solutions that work across a variety of platforms and languages. SKILLS YOU HAVE: 6 + years of UX writing or content design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing microcopy/flow examples on gamified experiences, growth and engagement content, and subscription sign-up flows. Proven experience working as an embedded UX writer within cross-functional product and UX teams. Experience leading teams or managing content design initiatives at scale, especially in high-growth or rapidly evolving environments Expert-level ability to write clear, concise, and compelling microcopy for different stages of the user journey (onboarding, engagement, growth, etc.) Strong understanding of content modularity, building reusable templates, patterns, and systems. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, UX, Legal, Marketing), and effectively aligning stakeholders on content direction. A versatile writer who can balance strategic thinking with execution, and can adapt writing style based on audience and platforms (e.g., mobile apps, web, wearable devices). Demonstrated commitment to the principles of accessibility and inclusion in your content; passion for design systems and/or accessibility and accessible UX design Ability to think about content in an integrated way across platforms, ensuring consistency, clarity, and alignment with overall product vision. Extra points for bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English. Compensation Range: $75 -85/hr DOE The range provided is our reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location.
