As our first Director, Marketing & Communications at Data Clean, a leading critical environment cleaning specialist, you will develop and execute marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness and drive business growth in the data center and critical environment sectors. This newly created role offers an exciting opportunity to significantly impact Data Clean's growth and solidify its position as an industry leader in critical environment cleaning services. Your role will encompass both strategic planning and hands-on execution, including: Key Responsibilities: Strategic Marketing Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to boost brand awareness, client acquisition, and revenue growth across all relevant channels (digital, print, trade shows, etc.). Campaign Development & Execution: Lead the creation and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns promoting Data Clean's services, such as data center cleaning, pre/post-construction services, critical environment installation services, and data center products. Brand Management: Ensure consistent messaging and visuals across all platforms, strengthening Data Clean's brand presence in the industry. Content Creation: Produce compelling content for various channels, including email campaigns, social media, web pages, press releases, and sales materials, highlighting Data Clean's expertise in critical environment cleaning. SEO Optimization: Implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and online visibility, utilizing tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush. MarCom Templates: Create and manage marketing communication templates, including brand guidelines, case studies, blogs, and proposals, ensuring consistency and professionalism in all materials. CRM & Marketing Automation: Utilize CRM and marketing automation platforms to design and track lead-nurturing campaigns and client engagement strategies. Website Management: Oversee the company's website, ensuring it is user-friendly, aligns with brand standards, and effectively generates high-quality leads. Social Media Management: Manage and expand social media presence, curating content that reflects the brand and engages target audiences in the critical environment sector. Analytics & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics, including lead generation, conversion rates, client acquisition costs, and marketing ROI. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and demonstrate marketing's impact on revenue growth. Revenue-Focused Marketing: Develop and implement marketing initiatives directly tied to revenue generation, showcasing the tangible results of your efforts in driving business growth. Collaboration: Work closely with sales and operations teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives and client needs. Budget & Vendor Management: Manage the marketing budget and relationships with external vendors and agencies to maximize ROI. External Communications: Lead/coordinate with Data Clean leadership and in some instances with our PE backers (Angeles Equity Partners) on external press releases and related content. Internal Communication: Partner with Data Clean leadership on internal communications, particularly as it relates to employee communication. Partner with HR to streamline and codify internal communication protocols for both in-office and field personnel. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. 10 years of marketing experience, preferably within the professional services or industrial sectors. Proven track record in creating and executing data-driven marketing strategies that drive revenue growth. Expertise in digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, SEO, and paid advertising. Strong analytical skills with experience in tracking and reporting marketing metrics. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management abilities. Experience managing budgets and external vendors/agencies. Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms. Ability to work both strategically and tactically, with a hands-on approach to execution. A passion for working in dynamic, fast-changing environments, leveraging your experience to establish, educate, and lead. Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) LOCATION: Preferred location is Charlotte, Chicago also acceptable. Prefer in-office 2-3 days per week, when not traveling for business
