Job Title: Interior Designer
Job Description
Lead production of deliverable documents through the Schematic Design, Development Design, Construction Documentation, and Construction Administration phases for Living and other Institutional Projects. This role involves FF&E selection, client management, and project management on a daily basis. You will also review documents for quality control evaluations and ensure ongoing compliance.
Responsibilities
Lead production of deliverable documents through various design and construction phases.
Select FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment).
Manage clients and projects on a daily basis.
Review documents for quality control evaluations and ensure compliance.
Provide project leadership and documentation coordination.
Develop design drawings, technical documentation, and construction administration phase documents.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
Experience with living, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
Construction documentation experience.
Ability to lead a design team.
Interior Design degree.
NCIDQ certification preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with large-scale commercial projects.
Ability to support multi-family and mixed-use projects.
Flexibility to work with various studios depending on workload.
Work Environment
The work environment includes five studios with 75 employees based in Baltimore. The Interior Designer will work on a variety of projects, including housing, multi-family, living, commercial, retail, shell, interiors, restaurants, and international projects. The role involves working hours from 9-6 or 8-5 with a preference for an 8 or 8:30 start time. The position requires being in the office four days a week and offers one hybrid workday. The office is located on the 18th floor of the recently renovated 100 N Charles Tower, providing a panoramic view of the city.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.26
