Job Title: Drone and Ground Photographer
Salary/Pay Rate: $48-$50/hour
Hours: Part-time
Duration: Quarterly 1-day shoots
Job Description:
Our team is looking for a part-time photographer/videographer in Lehi, Utah, capable of shooting drone video and photos of project progress. This role will involve at least quarterly, 1-day shoots, with additional days for specific milestones such as foundation pouring and construction topping out. Experience shooting construction sites is ideal.
Project Requirements:
- Frequency: Quarterly 1-day shoots, with additional days for specific milestones (e.g., foundation pouring, construction topping out).
- Scope: Capture aerial and ground footage of construction progress, including interior shots when the building is sealed.
Responsibilities:
Drone Operations:
- Pilot drone safely and efficiently to capture aerial footage of projects.
- Operate drone in accordance with FAA regulations and company safety protocols.
- Capture high-quality drone footage and photos, including time-lapse sequences and aerial perspectives.
- Edit and process drone footage to create visually stunning content.
Ground Photography and Videography:
- Capture high-quality ground photography and videography of project progress.
- Document construction sites, events, and other relevant activities.
- Edit and process ground footage to create professional-looking content.
- Edit and color-correct drone and ground footage.
- Create video sequences, time-lapses, and other visual effects.
- Deliver final products in various formats (e.g., video files, images).
Client Communication:
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements and expectations.
- Provide regular updates on project progress and deliverables.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Maintain and care for all photography and videography equipment.
- Ensure equipment is in good working condition and up-to-date.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in drone and ground photography and videography for construction projects.
- Skills: Proficient in operating drones, using photography and videography equipment, and editing video and photos.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of video and photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop).
- Safety: Adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
- Creativity: Ability to capture visually appealing and engaging content.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to work.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Compensation:
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $48 - $50/hour, based on factors including education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits may include medical health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in a 401k plan with company match (if applicable).
