Chicago Artists Coalition is hiring: Artist Assistant in Chicago

Chicago Artists Coalition helps people connect with opportunities including calls for artists, jobs, grants, and art advising.

Sculptor seeking a part-time studio assistant to assist with the production of a solo show opening at the end of July 2025. Weekly hours will range from 8–20, with potential for additional hours leading up to the installation date. The main studio is located in Humboldt Park.

Looking for someone with the following skill set:

1. Professional experience with fabrication in wood and metal. This is essential.
2. Ability to lift 50 lbs and comfort with physical labor.
3. Experience in fine art, including installation, exhibition setup, and art handling.
4. Comfortable with the smell of mushrooms.
5. Valid driver’s license.
