Description:

For the role of Senior Account Executive, Public Relations, BSG is seeking a unique and driven candidate with a PR/communications background, strategic mindset, and strong media relationships to support a growing public relations team with clients across beauty, lifestyle, and food and beverage. Experience with talent-led/involved brands is a benefit. The right person will have a minimum of 4+ years of relevant agency experience. This role will report to the SVP’s of the PR and Marketing Communications division.

Requirements:

  • Media savvy with specific experience in supporting the development and execution of PR and Marketing Communications strategies, including earned media relations and celebrity & influencer-led content and/or paid programs.
  • Strong experience in crafting and successfully pitching compelling storytelling angles across all facets of media – broadcast, print, digital, podcast, social, etc.
  • Possess a strong roster of media contacts within the business, lifestyle, food, celebrity, and beauty categories, as well as an overall understanding of the current and changing media landscape.
  • Developing management skills with experience in assisting senior leadership and leading junior team members and supporting the management of partners/vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to support the planning and execution of PR tactics including press mailers, desksides, events, media trips, experiential + consumer activations, and more.
  • Experience in supporting budget tracking and expense management.
  • Proven experience in compiling and spearheading detailed and accurate activity recaps and client reports.
  • Knowledge and awareness of broader marketing communications tactics including but not limited to – affiliate marketing, various paid growth strategies, organic/paid influencer and celebrity partnerships, sponsorships, and integrations.
  • Excellent personable and professional client relations manner as a key client account team member.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to be the key point of contact for clients.
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite and industry software (Cision, Meltwater) skills.
  • Extremely detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills – ability to multitask and respond to shifting priorities.
  • Willingness to “roll up sleeves” and execute programs from start to finish – team player.
