We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and forward-thinking Director of Sales & Marketing to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's sales and marketing strategies, driving revenue growth, and leading our dedicated sales and marketing team. This is a permanent role that offers exciting opportunities to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that align with our business objectives, promote our brand, and increase market share. 2. Utilize CRM and automation tools to streamline sales processes, enhance customer relationships, and improve sales performance. 3. Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the global market. 4. Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure alignment and coherence in go-to-market strategies. 5. Manage relationships with OEMs and distribution channels to expand our reach and increase sales. 6. Oversee the creation and execution of effective advertising campaigns that resonate with our target audience and drive lead generation. 7. Develop and manage annual sales and marketing budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources. 8. Forecast sales and revenue trends, providing regular reports to senior management. 9. Ensure compliance with 1099 reporting and other relevant regulations. 10. Lead and mentor the sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. 11. Develop a roadmap for sales and marketing activities, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification will be an advantage. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior sales and marketing role in the manufacturing or industrial sector. 3. Proven track record in developing and implementing successful sales and marketing strategies. 4. Deep understanding of CRM systems, automation tools, and other sales and marketing technologies. 5. Solid experience in managing relationships with OEMs and distribution channels. 6. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct market analysis, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. 7. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate a team. 8. Sound knowledge of 1099 reporting and other relevant regulations. 9. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively. 10. Solid experience in managing budgets and resources effectively. 11. Proficiency in B2B sales and marketing, lead generation, and advertising campaigns.
