Sales Manager Responsibilities: Successfully represent and market hot-dip galvanizing coating services to prospective clientsBuild and develop strong, long-lasting customer relationshipsGenerate and manage new business Identify and develop opportunities within the designated territoryFormulate and execute effective sales strategies that result in continued growth in market shareRepresent industry-related trade shows when applicableMaintain accurate documentation and client recordsConduct continuing education courses on hot-dip galvanizing through the popular American Galvanizer's Association Galvanize It! seminar seriesSales Manager Requirements:Minimum of 5 years relevant B2B sales experienceSales experience within the steel industry, construction products or coatings industry is preferred. Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced, team environmentStrong customer relation and leadership skillsThe ability to manage and generate your own and company provided leadsConsultative or solution-based sales experienceMust be willing to travelExperience using a CRM preferredApplicant coming from coating or steel industry with knowledge of working territory preferred.Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience. Compensation:A compensation package will be developed for the successful candidate that includes: Base salary ($75,000-$80,000 based on experience) plus Profit Incentive/Bonus, Company sponsored health, dental, vision, life and disability products, 401k program with company match as well as a Company vehicle and expense reimbursement.
