General Job Description / Summary As a Structural Designer II, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of building projects, including concrete, steel, and masonry structures. You will collaborate with experienced engineers to design and analyze structural systems, ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards. This role offers valuable hands-on experience and growth opportunities in the field of structural engineering. This position is designed to provide the opportunity for entry-level structural designers to develop and master fundamental technical abilities listed below.

Computer skills: Revit, RISA, AutoCAD, MS Office Suite

Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural engineering from an ABET accredited program. EI certificate or passed FE exam. Knowledge of building codes and standards related to structural design (e.g., ASCE, ACI, AISC). 0-2 years of experience in structural engineering or relevant internships/co-op experience.

Travel: up to 20% of the time depending on the project

Salary range: $75,000-$85,000

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
