Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Editor (Focus on Semiconductor) at International Business Strategies, Inc. in Los Gatos, CA. The Editor will be responsible for reviewing and editing technical documents related to semiconductor products and technologies. The role involves ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to company standards in all written materials.

• Collect and analyze research data in areas of high technology via the Internet, publications, interviews, trade seminars, financial statements, etc.
• Compose clear, organized summary reports of the key findings from the research data that was collected (ability to read Mandarin is a plus)
• Prepare and analyze numerical data using Microsoft Excel
• Ability to support and interface with ChatGPT
• Ability to work independently and multi-task
• Be flexible and support team members in a variety of tasks, such as data entry/typing, proofreading, filing, etc.
• Need for a high level of security and confidentiality of the information.

Qualifications

• Highly detail-oriented (accuracy is critical)
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent English grammar skills (written and spoken)
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint (minimum 30 wpm typing speed)
• Commitment to customer service
• Reliable mode of transportation
• Punctuality/On-time to work

Work hours:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri (OT may be required on occasion)
• Start/end time determined by company (typical 8:30 am to 5:30 pm with 1 hour lunch)
• Location is on-site in Los Gatos. Working from home is not available
