The UI/UX Designer is responsible for crafting intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience across digital platforms. This role combines user-centered design principles with aesthetic sensibility, focusing on creating digital experiences that are both functional and enjoyable for the audience. The UI/UX Designer collaborates closely with the Creative Director, Integrated Marketing Managers, and other members of the marketing and development teams to develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final designs that support the brand’s goals and provide value to users.
Key Responsibilities:
User Research and Persona Development
- Conduct user research to gain insights into user needs, preferences, and behaviors. Use methods such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
- Develop and maintain user personas that represent vital audience segments. This will help guide design decisions that align with user goals and brand objectives.
- Analyze research findings to identify pain points and opportunities for improving the user experience on digital platforms.
Wireframing and Prototyping
- Create wireframes, storyboards, and user flows to visually represent the structure and functionality of new and existing digital experiences.
- Develop interactive prototypes that allow stakeholders and team members to experience the proposed designs and provide feedback.
- Based on feedback, refine wireframes and prototypes, iterating until the design achieves the desired balance between user needs and business goals.
User Interface (UI) Design
- Design visually appealing and cohesive user interfaces that align with brand guidelines and enhance the digital experience.
- Apply a strong understanding of color theory, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy to create designs that are easy to navigate and visually engaging.
- Ensure that all interface elements—buttons, icons, menus, and typography—are consistent across platforms and responsive to different devices.
User Experience (UX) Optimization
- Analyze user interactions and engagement metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize the overall user experience.
- To ensure a positive user experience, implement UX best practices, including accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and mobile-first design.
- Conduct usability testing and analyze feedback, adjusting designs to improve user satisfaction, engagement, and conversion rates.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Work
- Work closely with the Creative Director, Content Strategist, and developers to ensure design concepts are feasible, aligned with marketing goals, and executed according to specifications.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and team meetings to share insights and contribute ideas for new digital projects and improvements.
- Guide the development team during the implementation phase, ensuring that designs are faithfully translated into functional digital products.
Digital Asset Management
- Organize and manage design assets, ensuring files are structured, labeled, and easily accessible for future projects.
- Maintain a library of UI components and design templates that streamline the design process and maintain consistency across platforms.
- Document design standards, including colors, fonts, and UI elements, to guide other team members and future projects.
Staying Updated with Industry Trends
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging design tools, and UX/UI best practices to keep the brand’s digital experiences fresh, innovative, and competitive.
- Continuously learn about new design methodologies, tools, and techniques and integrate them into the team’s workflow as appropriate.
- Explore and propose new features or functionality that enhance the digital experience and align with evolving user expectations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- UI/UX Design Expertise: Proficient in creating wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces, with a firm grasp of user-centered design principles.
- Design Tools: Expertise in design software such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar, with proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) for asset creation.
- Visual Design Skills: Strong sense of aesthetics, including typography, color theory, and layout, with the ability to create visually pleasing and cohesive interfaces.
- User Research and Testing: Experience conducting user research and usability testing, with the ability to analyze results and incorporate feedback into design improvements.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance user needs with business goals in design decisions.

Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably within a marketing or digital agency setting.
- A portfolio showcasing a variety of UI/UX design projects, including wireframes, prototypes, and final designs for web and mobile.
Tools and Software:
- Design Tools: Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar for creating UI/UX designs, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Adobe Creative Suite: Familiarity with Photoshop, Illustrator, and other Adobe tools for asset creation and image editing.
- Collaboration Tools: Experience with tools like Slack, Microsoft Teams, and project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello) for working with cross-functional teams.
