We are looking for an individual with experience installing, implementing, and troubleshooting enterprise-wide audio-visual, video teleconferencing, infrastructure and technical solutions.

Qualified candidates preferably have completed comprehensive training in the implementation of enterprise A/V, VTC, infrastructure networking, communications, and/or computing equipment and hardware.

This position will help to troubleshoot and maintain an enterprise-wide A/V system for our federal end-user. A DoD Secret clearance (or higher) is required.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:
  • Assists with installing, maintaining, operating, and upgrading A/V equipment and video teleconferencing (VTC) units
  • Performs preventive maintenance on A/V and VTC systems and related equipment (may include climbing ladders and use of lift devices; requires proficiency with normal working tools, must know how to solder and crimp connections)
  • Provides client consulting and training on controls, interfaces and use of A/V and VTC equipment
  • Experience with troubleshooting software for Crestron/AMX, Cisco, and Polycom A/V and VTC equipment - Programming knowledge strongly preferred
  • Provides field reporting updates to Project Manager as necessary
  • Provides life cycle refresh projects for VTC infrastructure and A/V equipment build out projects
  • May conduct site surveys: working knowledge of Telecom systems, TCP/IP Networks, CCTV Security and/or Access Control systems strongly preferred
  • May assist with voice/data structured cabling installations (pull/terminate/test CAT 5/5e/6), install cable pathway systems, test, label and document cabling
  • Lift and/or carry up to 75 pounds of VTC and A/V equipment.
Education and Experience
  • Must have the ability to install, terminate and test low voltage cables; certification preferred (fiber experience a plus)
  • Shall have technical certifications and product expertise required to provide support services for video conferencing and A/V solutions
  • CRM (service/relationship management software) experience preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in installing low voltage, A/V and/or VTC systems
  • Knowledge of AMX-Harman, Bi-Amp, Cisco, Crestron, Extron, and Polycom strongly preferred
  • Diploma required, Associate's degree preferred
  • InfoComm CTS or CompTIA (Network+ or A+) certification strongly preferred (must be willing to obtain)
  • Experience working with multiple departments and managing multiple tasks concurrently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Capable of frequent interaction with team members, customers and vendors
  • Knowledge of construction documentation and blueprint reading
  • Driver's license required, safe driving record, DoD Secret clearance active at time of hire
  • ISO 9001:2015 to be completed within 90 days of hire
