Job Description
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring all day-to-day client work and content creation for social media retainers and projects. Breaks down workload and timelines for projects, collaborates with appropriate staff, and procures resources and talent in accordance with Shadow Lion guidelines. Creates project deadlines and assures that these are well communicated to all necessary parties. Reviews progress toward deadlines and goals and provides progress reports to appropriate parties. Demonstrates initiative in problem-solving unexpected circumstances that may arise.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 1 year of successful internship experience in project management,preferably in social media
- Demonstrated initiative in, and enthusiasm for creative problem solving
- Excellent time management skills and demonstrated ability to successfully and calmly juggle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and customer service skills to collaborate with clients, team members and contractors
- Laser concentration and focused attention to detail
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed, including international travel
DUTIES:
A. Pre-Production
- Acquires a complete understanding of each assigned project
- Generates project timelines for social media team retainers and/or projects and ensures proper Shadow Lion staff are assigned at each step. Obtains approval of timelines from Creative Director/Lead before sending to clients (E)
- Manages the project timelines (E) including, but not limited to:
- Content production
- Social media calendars
- Strategy documents & plans
- Schedules internal & external project check-ins and meetings (E)
- Creates and manages project Google drive folders for each project (E)
- Books team travel, when applicable
B. Production and Post-production
- Leads day-to-day communication with the clients and contractors for assignments and inbound requests (E)
- Works with the Creative Director and Director of Production and Operations to tabulate and summarize project expenses after a project or campaign shoot is complete with final delivery to the client (E)
- Works with the Creative Director or Director of Social Media to build clients’ social media reports or other client materials that report on project and/or key performance indicators (E)
C. Leadership
- Demonstrates and promotes Shadow Lion’s culture of creativity, innovation, collaboration, respect, agility and timeliness (E)
- Assists with onboarding new creative staff
- Suggests and promotes continuous performance improvement activities (E)
- Promotes teamwork between departments
D. Communication
- Communicates pertinent information to appropriate parties in timely and suitable fashions (E)
- Utilizes appropriate channels & communication methods to identify complaints or resolve conflicts
- Directly reports significant events in a timely fashion to Supervisor
- Utilizes a customer service approach in all professional interactions (E)

E. Performs other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Sitting for long periods of time
- Seeing objects and details presented on a computer screen or similar device less than one foot away
- Frequent and long periods of typing and computer usage
- Intermittent sitting, standing and walking
- Occasional stair ascending and descending
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Office environment, or equivalent if remote employee
- Occasional travel – air, train, public transport, automobile
- On set – various locations indoors and outdoors, and may include extreme temperatures
