Unified Communications Lead
with demonstrated expertise in
Cisco Unified Communications (UC) systems
to join our team at
Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB)
in
Washington, DC . As Part of Our Team, you will: Take charge of the design, deployment, and optimization of mission-critical communication systems. Provide strategic guidance to the team, while driving system improvements across a global footprint. Be a part of an

where each employee-owner has a meaningful stake in the future success and growth of the company. What You'll Do as a Unified Communications Lead: Lead the
design, deployment, and management
of Unified Communications systems, including
Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) ,
Cisco Unity , and
Telepresence Management Server . Act as
a senior escalation point, resolving complex UC issues
such as voice and video challenges and call routing conflicts. Oversee the management of UC endpoints, including
Cisco VoIP phones and video conferencing systems . Plan and execute large-scale
system upgrades, migrations, and hardware refreshes . Develop and enforce UC security policies
to ensure compliance with DoD standards. Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering skill development and technical excellence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, cybersecurity professionals, and third-party vendors, to ensure seamless UC operations. Maintain and update operational documentation, including
system architecture diagrams and technical guides . Deliver
regular performance and activity reports
to senior leadership, identifying trends and recommending improvements. What You Bring to the Table: Active
Top Secret clearance
with SCI eligibility. Bachelor's degree and
11-12 years of relevant experience
OR
equivalent experience and advanced certifications in lieu of degree.
Advanced Cisco certifications , such as
CCNP
Collaboration or
CCIE
Collaboration. Technical Skills:
Proven success in managing enterprise-grade Cisco UC systems at scale, preferably in a DoD environment. Expertise in CUCM (v11.5+), Cisco VTC codecs, VoIP endpoints, and Telepresence Management Server. Strong understanding of VoIP protocols (SIP, H.323, RTP) and Quality of Service (QoS) principles. Familiarity with integrating UC systems with third-party tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams).

$160,000-$180,000 . Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
