Key Responsibilities:Managerial Responsibilities: Uphold managerial responsibilities for direct reports and assigned account staff for oversight of day-to-day work. Monitoring and guiding their development. Oversee internal communications.Healthcare Media Relations: Oversee departmental pitching efforts and strategy. Build and nurture relationships with healthcare journalists, bloggers, and industry influencers to secure healthcare-specific media coverage and interviews for our clients.Healthcare Content Creation: Assist in the Development of press releases, articles, blog posts, and other content tailored to the healthcare industry, effectively communicating our healthcare clients' key messages and achievements.Healthcare Social Media Management: Manage and grow the social media presence of healthcare clients, creating engaging healthcare-specific content, monitoring discussions, and responding to healthcare-related comments and inquiries.Healthcare Project and Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing PR projects and events within the healthcare sector for our clients, such as healthcare product launches, healthcare press conferences, and healthcare trade shows, ensuring healthcare media attendance and coverage.Healthcare Crisis Management: Act as a spokesperson and assist in healthcare crisis communication strategies when necessary, maintaining the healthcare clients' reputation during challenging times.Monitoring and Reporting: Track healthcare media coverage and analyze PR metrics specific to the healthcare industry to gauge the success of healthcare PR campaigns for our clients, providing regular reports to management.Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical, marketing, sales, and product development, to align healthcare PR efforts for our clients with their goals.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, marketing, healthcare, or a related field.Managerial experienceExceptional written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in using PR and media monitoring tools.Strong organizational and project management abilities.Creativity and a keen eye for healthcare storytelling.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.Experience: 2-4 years in agency public relations preferredBenefits:Competitive salaryProfessional development opportunitiesA supportive and inclusive company cultureExciting growth prospects in the dynamic healthcare PR industryHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insurancePaid time off401KJob Type: Full-timeSchedule:8-hour shift9 - 6 PM (in-person)Monday to FridaySupplemental pay types:Bonus opportunitiesAbility to commute/relocate:New York, NY 10003: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
