Studio Coordinator (Part-Time)

THE ROLE OF A COREPOWER YOGA STUDIO COORDINATOR

As a Studio Coordinator (SC), you live your power by supporting the world-class CorePower Yoga studio experience including coordinating studio operations and holding the studio to the highest health and safety standards. In alignment with our Core Values, you work alongside the Studio Manager to deliver results and sustained growth towards all current company and studio-level goals. This SC role is a part-time, entry-level position which will allow you to learn the business and develop the skillset to operate a studio.

Responsibilities:

  1. Act as an ambassador of the CorePower Yoga Core Values at all times and consistently inspire these values in others.
  2. Support the Studio Manager in achieving company and studio level goals, including membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, teacher and SET recruitment, and programming enrollment.
  3. Commit to a flexible schedule of 18-29 hours per week in support of operations coordination and teaching (if certified), including health and safety protocol execution, front desk guidance, and team support.
  4. Serve as the studio-level point of contact for students and staff when the Studio Manager is not present.
  5. Support maintaining an appropriate level of studio supply inventory.
  6. Engage and know your studio community consistently; greet students by name and foster community.
  7. Support teachers' learning experience of working the POS and other pre/post class duties.

Health, Safety and Cleanliness Protocol:

  1. Uphold high standards for the studio, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
  2. Support communication around Smart Health Protocol to students.
  3. Act as an extension of the Studio Experience Team (SET) including cleaning the studio and stocking amenities.
  4. Support coordination of the Studio Experience Team (SET) including shift scheduling and training.
  5. Lead Orientation for new Studio Experience Team members.

Coordinate Studio Systems:

  1. Act as a liaison between the Studio Manager and the teaching and SET teams.
  2. Understand and efficiently navigate the Point of Sales System (POS).
  3. Support administrative follow-up in the Online Reservation System.
  4. Support training and usage for the Subbing Application and HRIS Application.
  5. Submit facilities tickets when on duty and communicate follow-up needs to the Studio Manager.

Teaching Schedule:

  1. Support the studio class schedule by teaching a minimum of 6 classes per week of branded CorePower Yoga classes.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  1. Must demonstrate CorePower Yoga Core Values.
  2. Excellent oral communication skills, professionalism, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
  3. Experience in Customer Service required.
  4. Completion of a Yoga Alliance certified 200-hour program is preferred.
  5. Yoga Sculpt teacher training is preferred.
  6. Familiarity with studio systems such as HRIS, intranet, and point of sale systems.
  7. Ability to build relationships with individuals of diverse personalities and styles.
  8. Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize while working under multiple deadlines.
  9. Proven self-starter with ability to take on new projects with enthusiasm.
  10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  11. Excellent Time Management skills.
  12. College (BA/BS) preferred.

THE FINE PRINT

  1. Availability must match the needs of the business and leadership schedules – morning, evening, weekend, and some holiday availability required.
  2. Must be able to move around the studio space, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs.
  3. If certified to teach, must be able to step in to teach class with little to no notice.
