Service Writer/Advisor Job at Puente Hills Domestic in California

Looking for an experienced writer/advisor to join our team. The position is full-time with benefits including medical/dental/401k.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintain Customer Service Index (CSI) rating as set by dealership service manager.
2. Responsible for the entire customer service experience from the service drive until the vehicle is turned back over to the customer.
3. Schedule appointments and generate estimates.
4. Advise customers on the care of their vehicles and the value of maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.
5. Effectively communicate to the customer the timeline of repair and maintenance.
6. Follow up with progress calls and/or emails to customers regarding any changes in the estimate or pick-up time.
7. Document repair and maintenance changes on repair order in the approved manner.
8. Resolve customer complaints and questions.
9. Establish and maintain strong positive working relationships and loyalty with customers to encourage repeat and referral business allowing for long-term clientele.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
2. At least six months to one year automotive industry or related experience and/or training.
3. Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies.
4. Excellent customer service skills.
5. Ability to be analytical and multi-task.
6. Ability to work with little supervision.
7. Self-motivated enthusiastic presence in a team environment.
8. Strong written and communication skills.
9. Consistent and stable work history.
10. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
11. Professional appearance and work ethic.
