About the role:
Atmosphere TV seeks an AI Editorial Producer to help us create engaging, informative News and Entertainment content using the latest AI technologies. You will be responsible for curating, writing, editing, optimizing, and publishing video content to ensure it is accurate, relevant, and engaging. You will also be involved in developing new content ideas and strategies to help us stay ahead of the curve in the fast-paced world of AI. Your expertise in natural language processing, machine learning, and data analysis will be essential in developing content that resonates with our audience. This role is based in our Austin, Texas office and will report to the Executive Producer, Interactive.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, produce, and edit News and Entertainment videos for Atmosphere 
• Pitch and develop new segments, content partnerships, and monetization ideas
• Skillfully use AI to produce and manipulate copy and video for Atmosphere channels
• Proficiently use CMS platforms and content management tools to publish and manage AI content
• Identify and evaluate relevant AI content sources and curate high-quality, engaging content for our audience
• Use critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to analyze and improve AI content performance
• Constantly exhibit journalistic standards, practices, and discipline
• Learn and follow Atmosphere’s Standard Operating Procedures
• Work and thrive in a fast-paced, fun environment

Requirements:

• 1-3 years in a news/journalism role
• Strong copywriting and copyediting skills
• Experience with Adobe Suite: Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects
• Basic understanding of motion graphics and animations
• Ability to evaluate and edit AI-generated content for grammatical accuracy, tone, and clarity
• Strong interest in News and Entertainment
• A true team player and innovator who brings passion to the table
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask
• Efficiency with Google Suite (i.e., Sheets, Docs)
