Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Cisco Unified Communications (UC) Architect to lead and coordinate our unified communications efforts. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Cisco UC technologies, coupled with strong leadership and team coordination capabilities. While Cisco UC is the primary technology in our environment, familiarity with Avaya solutions is a plus.
Key Responsibilities: Unified Communications Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications technologies to drive the development, implementation, and optimization of UC solutions. Team Leadership and Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify focus areas, define goals, and oversee the execution of UC-related projects. Provide guidance and direction to technical resources to ensure project success. Architectural Oversight: Act as the go-to expert for Cisco UC architecture, ensuring that solutions align with organizational goals and industry best practices. Avaya Integration: Provide insights into Avaya footprints, ensuring seamless integration and coexistence with Cisco UC technologies where applicable. Resource Management: Effectively allocate and manage resources, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope. Strategic Planning: Identify emerging trends and technologies in unified communications and recommend strategies for continuous improvement. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project status, challenges, and solutions.
Qualifications: Proven expertise in Cisco Unified Communications technologies, including but not limited to Call Manager, Unity, Jabber, Webex, and associated endpoints. Familiarity with Avaya UC technologies is preferred. Strong leadership and coordination skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams. Ability to translate technical challenges into actionable strategies and solutions. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant certifications such as CCNP Collaboration, CCIE Collaboration, or equivalent are highly desirable.
