Now Hiring a talented and detail-oriented Email Marketing Specialist to join a dynamic and highly productive Marketing and Communications team.
This role is based in Northbrook, IL 60062!
Hybrid Schedule: Monday & Friday -WFH // Tues, Wed, Thurs - IN OFFICE!
Salary: $65-80k annually
The purpose of this role is to manage email marketing campaigns and draft copy that promotes specific products/services and events, enhances customer engagement, and drives sales growth.
Areas of Responsibility / Tasks Performance must reflect appropriate level of expertise and achievement of the desired results for the items listed below.
• Implement and execute email marketing campaigns.
• Craft compelling and targeted email content, including subject lines, body copy and call-to-actions that drive customer engagement.
• Draft web copy to enhance SEO performance.
• Design email templates and graphics that employ best practices using email marketing platforms (e.g., Dynamics 365, Mailchimp).
• Conduct A/B testing to optimize email performance and improve open and click-through rates by analyzing subject lines, content blocks and layouts.
• Maintain and segment email distribution lists based on contact type and preferences to deliver personalized content.
• Ensure compliance with email marketing best practices and industry regulations, including CAN-SPAM and GDPR.
• Monitor campaigns, analyze performance metrics and make adjustments to optimize campaign results.
• Provide regular reporting and insights to improve future campaigns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align email strategies with business goals.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest email marketing trends and technologies to continuously enhance our email marketing efforts.
• All other duties as assigned

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe file creation & management.
• Maintains professional presentation, attitude, and behavior toward others
Minimum Qualifications/ Education / Experience / Certifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Journalism/Communications or related field. Equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 4+ years of experience in email marketing or a similar role (required).
• Experience producing email campaign performance reports, analyzing the results, presenting the data, and proposing improvements (required).
• Demonstrated ability to improve email performance metrics over time (preferred).
• Experience with email marketing in Dynamics 365 (preferred).
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS for email design (preferred).
• B2B marketing communications experience (preferred).
