Position Summary:
The Advertising Services Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the Client Success, Media Investment and Paid Media teams in the planning, execution, and optimization of budgets to drive business objectives. This position involves analyzing data, conducting research, and providing insights to assist the Advertising Services Department to maximize ROI. The Advertising Services Coordinator collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with campaign goals and to drive continuous improvement in media performance.
A successful Advertising Coordinator plays a crucial role in driving client satisfaction, retention, and advocacy, contributing directly to the overall success of the company.
Essential Functions:
Tracking and Reporting
· Assist in budget tracking reinvestment, and invoice management for client investment allocation across Advertising Services.
· Manage reporting for the Advertising Services team, including spot count, daypart count, competitive, posting analysis, TV buy summaries, and competitive, among other key reports that highlight key metrics and insights for continuous improvement.
· Assign ISCI codes for TV and radio spots.
· Maintenance of media buying platform to ensure accuracy and data integrity, including creating estimates, freezing estimates, and transmission of estimates to Vendors.
· Facilitate Local Service Ads Calls for Paid Media Team
· Facilitate Ghost Call for Client Services Teams
Vendor Management
· Liaise with media vendors to confirm placement details, deadlines, and technical specifications.
· Facilitate annual spot guideline sign-off with vendors.
· Support traffic management by creating and managing video ad creative with vendors, ensuring proper campaign setup and troubleshooting any delivery issues
Buy Management
· Work closely with the Media Investment Team, Paid Media Team and the Client Success team to manage campaign budgets effectively.
· Work closely with accounting on invoice reconciliation
· Facilitate daily MakeGoods.
Creative Collaboration:
· Coordinate with the Creative team to ensure that ad creatives align with campaign objectives.
· Provide input on creative elements to enhance campaign effectiveness.
Stay Informed:
· Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging platforms, and media buying best practices.
· Share insights and recommendations with the team to optimize campaign strategies.
Skills, Abilities and Knowledge:
· Research and Analysis: Capability to conduct market research, competitor analysis, and audience insights to support media investment decisions. Use of Media tools to include but not limited to Google AdWords, Kantar, SRDS, Nielsen Ratings, FreeWheel a plus.
· Detail Obsessed: Being meticulous in managing media budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring accuracy in reports and documentation.
· Communication: Clear and effective communication to articulate media investment strategies, findings, and recommendations to team members and stakeholders.
· Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and resource needs.
· Curiosity: Thirst for knowledge, being eager to learn about the industry, products/services, and effective client management strategies.
Education and Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
· 1-2 year experience preferred in advertising, or a related field a plus.
