What You'll Do:

• Lead the daily operations of the Blair Public Library and Technology Center, ensuring exceptional service and innovative programming.
• Plan, organize, and oversee library services, budgets, and staff development to meet community needs.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and strategic objectives in collaboration with the Library Board.
• Engage the community by promoting library programs and fostering partnerships with external organizations like the Friends of the Library and Blair Public Library Foundation.
• Ensure effective maintenance of library facilities and manage library materials and resources.

What You Bring:

• Education: A bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field is required. A master's degree in Library Science is highly preferred.
• Experience: At least 7 years of experience as a librarian and 3 years in a supervisory role are required.
• Certification: Nebraska Librarian Certification Level 3 or higher is required within one year of hire.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills to inspire and guide a collaborative library environment.
