Base pay range

$60,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Cinematographer/Editor to join our team at KASSIR PLASTIC SURGERY. This role is an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for storytelling with cutting-edge medical technology and the latest techniques in plastic and reconstructive surgery. The ideal candidate will have experience crafting compelling visual narratives that resonate with both professional and consumer audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with our in-house Producer and Marketing Strategist to conceptualize, plan, and execute video projects that align with the company’s brand and marketing objectives.
  • Operate RED and Sony Digital Cinema Cameras to capture high-quality footage in various settings, primarily clinical and surgical environments.
  • Light and frame scenes to produce visually engaging content, ensuring proper exposure and mood for each shoot.
  • Edit and color grade video content using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects) with an emphasis on storytelling.
  • Create motion graphics and incorporate graphic design elements as needed to elevate production value.
  • Film in clinical and operating room settings during live surgeries, ensuring adherence to sterile practices and patient privacy protocols.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and medical teams to produce educational, documentary, and technical content.
  • Organize and manage media assets for efficient project workflows.

Minimum Requirements

  • Proven experience in video production and editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects (please provide links to completed projects, not a highlight reel).
  • Proficiency with RED and Sony Digital Cinema Cameras and an understanding of advanced cinematography techniques.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Experience with graphic design and motion graphics is highly desirable.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in high-stakes environments, such as operating rooms.
  • Familiarity with sterile practices and protocols for filming in surgical settings is a significant plus.
  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex surgical procedures and device functions into engaging visual content.
  • A collaborative mindset, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel to practices across the country. Travel schedules can range from a couple of days to a couple of weeks.
