General Summary:

Tests and modifies general systems-level software/hardware, specialized utility and/or hardware. Interprets wireless specifications. Designs test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures. Documents systems-level defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to developers. Identifies, analyzes, troubleshoots, and documents problems with program function, output, or content. Develops testing programs that assess effectiveness of a new system or modification of an existing system.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for test case design, test schedule planning, issue analysis with dev team, test report summary, etc.
• Cross team and cross site co-work for internal project execution and customer support, and onsite support on necessary basis.
• Audio/Voice feature test execution including functionality, continuous tuning optimization and CA.
• Flexible to support on other multimedia test (display/graphics).

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
• Or master’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of window system, Qualcomm hardware, audio codec/applications/accessories.
• Preferred to be familiar with Python/MATLAB or audio tools.
• Experience with the audio tools such as Audition/QACT/AudioStudio is a good plus.
• Experience with other multimedia test is a plus, such as peripheral interop/compatibility, graphics, etc.
• Good communication, English listening/speaking/reading/writing skills.
• Good data analysis/summary skills, quick learning ability.
