Job Summary: Set-up, operate and troubleshoot all AV/projection/lighting/ conferencing equipment, devices and systems. Ensure all AV equipment is fully operational, repairing or cleaning equipment as necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities (specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to):
Minimum Qualifications: 1.High school or General Equivalency Diploma AND one (1) year experience troubleshooting and repairing gaming and/or non-gaming devices down to component level on electronic board assemblies OR an Associate's degree or diploma in electronic engineering or any other related field of study from an accredited institution. 2.Must pass a job-related test approved by Human Resources. 3.Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software, especially Outlook, word processing and spreadsheet applications, and Internet Explorer. 4.Demonstrated track record of reliability and responsiveness, 5.Demonstrated track record of providing excellent guest service. 6.Must be able to lift at least fifty (50) pounds at one time, with or without a reasonable accommodation. 7.Must be able to work in a smoking environment. 8.Must be able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, special events, and overtime, as needed. 9.Must have employment eligibility in the U.S. 10.Must be able to obtain, maintain, and retain a valid gaming license.

Duties and Responsibilities (specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to):
- Provides all necessary audio visual support and coverage for the Casino Del Sol Resort, Spa and Conference Center.
- Initiates and oversees the set-up of AV/projection/lighting and sound mixing equipment in banquet and meeting rooms.
- Oversees the set-up and transportation of AV equipment to banquet and meeting rooms.
- Check delivered equipment and room-set-up against Banquet Event Orders.
- Communicate any additions or deletions of the BEO to management staff.
- Tape down and dress all loose wires and cable (cable management).
- Label any broken equipment and communicate problems and possible resolutions to management staff.
- Break down, remove and secure equipment when not in use.
- Assist and instructs guests regarding proper usage and operation of AV equipment.
- Provide "everyday extraordinary" customer service to all guests and patrons.
- Handles and is available for all events including nights, weekends and holidays involving use of audio visual equipment within resort.
- Maintain inventory of all equipment, cables and accessories.
- Promotes and ensures the positive reputation of the Information Technology department.
- Attends weekly Sales & Banquet staff meetings to ensure continuity of services.
- Communicates with sales staff and vendors to coordinate outside use of audio visual equipment when necessary.
- Recommends and implements techniques to improve productivity, reduce costs, and improve guest service.
- Maintains equipment and service quality standards by conducting ongoing evaluations of inventory, usage and replacement needs.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- Knowledge and understanding of audio visual and computer equipment utilized in the staging of public and private events (i.e. concerts, lectures, dances, graduations, etc...)
- Knowledge of sound mixing equipment including microphones, speakers and in-house systems.
- Knowledge of operation and coordination of amplifiers for large public events in the various resort venues.
- Knowledge and familiarity with computer hardware, software, point-of-sale terminals, printers, projectors, screens and audio hardware.
- Skill in troubleshooting audio and video equipment use.
- Ability to follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, reporting accidents and unsafe conditions to immediate supervisor.
- Ability to track and maintain usage logs of all audio visual equipment;
- Skill in working courteously with the public as well as developing and maintaining good working relationships.
- Ability to professionally handle stress in a busy atmosphere.
- Ability to communicate and follow directions effectively.
- Ability to work any shift, weekends, holidays, special events and overtime as needed including a 24 hour on-call rotation..
- Ability to reach, grasp, turn, manipulate, carry, push, pull and lift objects/ equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Ability to maintain the physical stamina required in a fast-paced work environment with challenging situations; ability to stand and walk for long periods in an environment with a loud noise level.
- Ability to work in a smoking environment.
- High school or General Equivalency Diploma AND two (2) years' experience utilizing a Windows XP (or higher)
- Two (2) years directly related experience.
- Associate's Degree in a related field.
- A+, Net(work)+ and MCP certification
